Real Estate Company
I specialize in connecting buyers and sellers. I Graduated from the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud campus with a BS in Business. Have a lot of experience working with investor and investment homes. Currently live in the Lake of Blaine and have lived in Anoka County my entire life. I am a very friendly and responsive agent. Unlike most real estate agent in our industry, I do one small but key thing, I answer my phone!
1. Determine your budget - Start by assessing your financial situation. Figure out how much money you have saved for a down payment, what your monthly income is, and what monthly expenses you have. Based on that, calculate how much house you can afford. This will give you a budget for your home search. Scroll down to take advantage of our mortgage calculator.
2. Get pre-approved for a mortgage - Before you start looking for a home, it's important to get pre-approved for a mortgage. This will give you an idea of how much money you can borrow and what your interest rate will be. One of our Realtors® will discuss options for financing. There may even be down payment assistance available.
3. Find a real estate agent that is a Realtor® - Our agents are Realtors® and have a higher code of conduct. We are a part of the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MAR) and Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS). A Fish MLS Realtor® can help you find homes that meet your criteria and negotiate a good price. Our Realtors® have experience in the local Minnesota market and are responsive to your needs. We focus on agency with strong negotiation skills.
4. Start your search - You are at the right place. By speaking to one of our Realtors®, we can better assist in finding the right home the moment it is on the market. Be sure to consider factors like location, size, and price when looking at potential homes. Our Realtors® will schedule private tours so you don’t have to wait for an open house.
5. Make an offer - When you find a home you like, we will make an offer that will give you the best chance at getting the home. The offer will include the price you are willing to pay, any contingencies, and the closing date.
6. Get a home inspection - Once we have an offer accepted, it's important to get a home inspection. This will help identify any issues with the property that you may not have noticed during your initial walk-through. Minnesota is a disclosure state; however, it is very important to have an inspection to verify conditions or discover any unseen conditions.
7. Close the sale - If the inspection goes well, we can move forward with closing the sale. This will involve signing a lot of paperwork, including the mortgage paperwork, recording of deeds, prorations, state and local taxes, title insurance and additional related loan and closing costs.
8. Move in - Once the sale is complete, it's time to move in! Congratulations on your new home.
